Profile magazine and PMA Australia announce that The Framing Show 2009 will be co-located with the Imaging Technology Show in Sydney at the Convention and Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour, June 26-28. PMA International Director Ted Fox told Profile magazine he looked forward to working more closely with the Australian framing industry. “The PMA has been working successfully with the PPFA for a number of years now and is well aware of both the needs and problems faced by the picture framing industry,” said Ted. “We look forward to working closely with the framing community in years to come to provide a first class trade show for the industry.” The decision to co-locate the two shows followed a long consultation process, and Australian PMA director Peter Rose has worked tirelessly to ensure that the co-location will be made successfully. Peter is well known to many in the industry and his standing in the framing community was central to bringing this venture to fruition. Peter told Profile, “I think this is one of those classic win win situations. The PMA show will be enriched by having the Framing Show alongside and we will work very hard to ensure the whole framing industry is enhanced by the move”. As we hear daily reports of the growing buzz leading up to the 2009 show, there is now an even more exciting event to look forward to.
